Updating

Requirements

A compatible version of EXODS/EXOscada must be installed.

The update process

Several steps are needed in order to make a full update of a server and project(s).

Update Arrigo Local

  • Run Arrigo Local Installer to check for and download an update. By default, the installer will only check for newer stable versions.
  • If a newer version is found you will be prompted to download it.
  • The new installer will start automatically and you are prompted to install/update.

Upgrade the Arrigo Local server project

After installing the new version of Arrigo Local an upgrade of the project is recommended and sometimes required.

In Project Builder:

  • Select the ArrigoBMS node, open the Tools menu and select Arrigo - Upgrade project to latest version
  • In the upgrade tool, click the Upgrade button

Update the frontend templates of the server projects

  • Open Folder Views Tool. This can be done from any node in the project, the top project folder for instance.
  • In Folder Views Tool, click Add.
  • Select Update from the list in the Folders pane.
  • Select Update Template Views from the list in the Templates pane.
  • Select/deselect items as needed and click Next.
