Prognosis/Forecast

Prognosis values, or forecast, can be calculated for any meter. As the name suggest, prognosis values estimate the future consumption based on the consumptions in the past. This feature can be turned on for a meter by checking the "Forecast" checkbox under the Energy & Climate tab, for that meter.

• Prognosis values will be calculated until the end of the current year, provided that there are at least 16 pre-existing monthly consumptions from the latest consumption (inclusive).
• Prognosis values will only be calculated for the future. If a consumption already exists for a given time, the prognosis will only be calculated after this time.

Note

If there exists a reading for part of the last month, a prognosis will be be calculated for the remainder of that month.
